Do you have the knowledge and tools needed to face challenges of reliability and resiliency of our power delivery systems? This workshop will show you how to use the relevant ASCE/SEI Standards and Manuals of Practice (MoP) to handle these challengers. The tutorial also provides an opportunity for new transmission and distribution engineers to learn about the Standards and MoPs used in our industry.

Industry experts will teach you how to:

  • Implement ASCE/SEI Standards and MoPs in real-life applications,
  • Effectively develop loads from the probabilistic wind, ice, and other loading events,
  • Apply those loads to different types of structures and components,
  • Develop a better understanding of the design strength equations in the Standards and MoPs.

Technical knowledge in these areas is constantly improving and requires constant updating, so you will not want to miss this valuable opportunity. Due to the anticipated volume of technical material that will be covered in the workshop, pre-registered attendees will receive a workshop kit containing the tutorials and design examples.
